Guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the conference champions technologies that break down barriers, bridge the digital divide, and ensure that no one is left behind in the rapidly evolving digital world.
General Guidelines for Paper Submission
We invite authors to submit papers reporting original research results and experiences, not published nor currently under review for another conference or journal. All contributions are peer-reviewed by an international Scientific Committee. At least one author of accepted submissions must register as the presenter by the early registration deadline.
Each paper should be written in English with no more than 10 pages, including references, tables, and figures. You may submit your paper using the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/DSAI2026/Track/1/Submission/Create. Please, be aware that you will need to create an account before submitting your paper.
Electronic submissions using an accessible PDF format are strongly recommended. Authors are requested to adhere to the conference format (author guidelines for Word or Latex) in preparing the camera-ready version of their contribution. Also, the review comments included in the acceptance notification must be taken into account.
All accepted papers of the DSAI 2026 conference will be submitted for publishing to ACM and indexed by the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI, Web of Science™) and Scopus™.

DSAI 2026 Conference
special Tracks Overview
DSAI 2026 Special Tracks are sessions organized by leading experts that invite 5-6 authors to submit their research for a thematic session as part of the conference program. They intend to extend the impact of the conference and promote its main goals, e.g., to provide a space for debate on new tendencies and software projects for populations with special needs, to contribute to the creation of synergies among public and private entities, namely industry and higher education institutions, to share experiences and best practices.
Proposal Submission
Special Track proposals must be submitted in English using the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/DSAI2026/Track/3/Submission/Create. Please, be aware that you will need to create an account before submitting your proposal.
For a session to be considered a DSAI 2026 Special Track, it must include a minimum of 5 papers. The Special Track Organizer may use the DSAI 2026 website to call for paper submissions. When a proposal is accepted, the Special Track Organizer will be informed of the designated web link to do it so. The organizer’s name will appear in the conference program as “Special Track Organizer”.
Evaluation Criteria
1) Scientific quality of the proposal; 2) Relevance to the DSAI 2026 Conference; 3) Experience of the organizer(s) in the Special Track topic; and 4) Overlap with other Special Tracks.
Paper Submission, Revision, and Selection
All papers for the Special Track will be submitted through a specific link in the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (the submission links will be available soon).
The Special Track Organizer is responsible for having each paper reviewed by at least two independent reviewers and will make the final selection of papers for the session.
The Special Track Organizer must email all accepted authors’ information to info@dsai.ws, until the general notification deadline. DSAI 2026 Organization Committee will then send official invitation letters and registration information to the authors.
All final papers must be received by the conference’s final submission deadline and must adhere to the DSAI 2026 camera-ready paper formatting requirements outlined on the conference website at https://dsai.ws/2026/call-for-participation/.
The Special Track Organizer will act as Chair of the Special Track at the conference. The Special Track Organizer’s paper can be reviewed by DSAI 2026 Scientific Committee upon request.

DSAI 2026 Workshops are hands-on learning sessions for exchanging innovative ideas about accessible ICT, and for discovering new frontiers for its use. We invite proposals for interactive workshops in the scope of the conference’s topics of interest.
