Call for papers

start of contentWelcome to DSAI 2022. The 10th International Conference on Software Development and Technologies for Enhancing Accessibility and Fighting Info-exclusion (DSAI 2022) will be held August 31 – September 2, 2022, at NOVA-IMS, Lisbon – Portugal. DSAI proceedings have been published in the ACM International Conference Proceedings Series since 2016 edition. Papers are archived in the ACM Digital Library.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play a major role in our lives. However, ICT development that ignores social inclusion may raise barriers and increase the gap between the average user and those with special needs, instead of contributing to promoting equal rights and opportunities for all.

Elderly and persons with special needs face often multiple disabilities that prevent them from enjoying the benefits of technology and a higher quality of life standards. According to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, technology design should take into account accessibility and usability features for the protection and promotion of the human rights of persons with disabilities, in all policies and programmes.

We invite authors to submit papers in the following and related areas:
